Wishing I was sitting on this beach, with my toes scrunching in the sand, sunglasses on, watching Brad and the kids snorkeling(I can't get wet, I'm busy working on my tan), sipping on a tropical beverage that was served in a coconut shell with an umbrella in it. Did I leave anything out? I think that about covers it!
Back to reality, sitting on the couch wearing a sweatshirt, warm fuzzy slippers and wrapped in a blanket. Looking out the window at the snow, not fluffy white snow anymore, melty brown snow and the mud, ohhh the mud. Driving to our house is like entering a demolition derby, not the fun "oh look at that!" kind of demolition derby either the "eww.... gross" kind of demolition derby. Ya know where they spray water so there's lots of mud and five foot ruts to swallow you up? That is what our road is like. So, anybody want to come visit me?
Just had to vent a little. The cabin fever is beginning to set in. Ready for some "real" sunshine, the kind you can get out in wearing your flip flops and t-shirt (probably some type of pants too!). March sunshine still requires snow boots and ear muffs :(
Okay time to quit whining there are still lots of things to be thankful for, even at the end of an endless winter:
- warm, fuzzy slippers to keep my pigs warm
- a son who tells me he forgot to go get his haircut, so I call to tell Nancy he won't be showing up and she says "what? I just finished cutting his hair". He's such a trickster! (But thanks for making me smile)
- a hubby who tells me he loves me every day (love you too hundy)
- a daughter who calls every day "just because"
- 4-wheel drive vehicles
- two little white dogs
- electricity, so I can read everyone's blogs, my lifeline to the "real" world:)

Well, I was going to come see you this week and bring EVERYTHING I have to bring to you but that road of yours sounds worse than mine! I would go to that tropical place with you. March is not my favorite month!
